Written at a normal scale, the ribbon on this medal contains the names of all 100 Australian recipients as of April 2019. Please note that since this piece was written, Ordinary Seaman Teddy Sheean, was posthumously awarded the VC for his outstanding bravery in defending his shipmates after his ship, the HMAS Armidale, was torpedoed en route to Timor. The ship went down on December 1st, 1942 with the loss of 100 crew. Teddy was still firing his gun as the ship went down. His will be the 101st name added to the ribbon.
